As business owners we have grown to realize that the key to having a Perfect Balance Life is to build a Perfect Balance Business. Over the years we have had to rethink our basic business model, and have continually redesigned the way we work in the business and the way we work on the business.

Even though our clients have received and continue to receive quality services and products, it has been our experience that our perfect clients want more. We have spent our professional lives educating ourselves in order to help our clients and then providing the traditional legal and financial services to our clients.

In the summer of 2003 the light went on for us personally. We knew that we owned all the traditional things associated with having done financial planning. We had investments, insurance, retirement plans, wills, powers of attorney and even a funded trust. By many standards we had done it. However, something was missing. We discovered what was missing was the vision of how everything would play out for both of us and for our daughter for the rest of our lives. When we started examining our personal situation we realized how much more could be done to add value to our situation.

This experience translated into adopting a new business model. Instead of looking at ourselves as financial planners, estate planners, investment advisors and risk managers, we began to cast ourselves and all of our team members in the role of strategic advisors for our clients. Our business is helping people who want our help in transforming their own lives. Our clients define transformation "as creating the future in which they want to live."
